Cirque du Soleil’s KURIOS is a must see!

“If you’ve seen one Cirque show, you’ve seen them all,” is what one of our more jaded friends said a few years back as a pair of trapeze artists swung over our heads. Bish, pleeeaze.

Having attended the Vancouver premiere of Kurios—Cabinet of Curiosities last night under the blue-and-yellow big top, we’re happy to say that even she would have been impressed.

In what may be Cirque’s most exciting show in over a decade, Kurios is tight and action-packed, with non-stop death-defying thrills from aerialists, acrobats, contortionists and clowns — everything you’d want in a Cirque show, with an impressive steampunk theme.

Plus, the shirtless conjoined twins are enough to get any heart racing, even before they separate and take to aerial straps for an intricately choreographed overhead ballet.

You’ll want to run away and join this Cirque.
