VTSL invites you to be their “Guest” at Western World.

Inspired by the popular new HBO series Westworld, the Vancouver Theatresports League’s latest show transports you back to the Old West by taking you into a futuristic theme park populated by android hosts. Even if you’re not an HBO aficionado, Western World is sure to entertain – I mean, who doesn’t like cowboys, right?

Each night features a totally new episode under the watchful eye and guiding mind of Robert (sometimes Roberta) Ford. As in any western movie, Guests will encounter scenarios and characters such as the damsel in distress, the villainous “Man in the Black Hat” or perhaps a shootout at the corral. If things get too out of hand, Ford steps in with “Stop all motor functions” and hits the reset button on the droids.

Throughout the first half, Guests help craft the storyline that becomes the basis for the second half of the show, which will star a member of the audience. In previous performances, an 11-year-old, a professional actress and a set of identical twins have taken the stage.

Who will it be at your performance? Every show is different and anything can happen in Western World.

This is one wild wild western.
