HILARIOUS WHODUNNIT

HILARIOUS WHODUNNIT

VTSL’S MURDER ON THE IMPROV EXPRESS HELD OVER UNTIL JUNE 30th.

Vancouver TheatreSports League’s latest show Murder on the Improv Express totally slays. No really, a member of the audience is “killed” … and it’s up to world-famous Detective Poirot to find the murderer.

With a storyline adapted from Agatha Christie’s famous novel, a 1930’s luxury train is trapped in the Rocky Mountains with a passenger list that includes movie stars, orphans, communists, burlesque dancers, gummy bear salesmen and the aforementioned detective. Oh yeah, and a corpse.

A good murder mystery isn’t complete without a twist, and in this case the audience gets to choose details about the suspects while Poirot is out of the room. Each character is given a secret, and it’s up to the man with the moustache to crack the case — guided by the crowd’s reactions. Spoiler alert: there are no spoilers because every plot is driven by the audience’s suggestions and each show is truly unique.

The show was originally scheduled to run until the end of May, but it’s been held over until June 30th due to popular demand.

Obviously, this is one killer comedy.
