ROYAL COMMAND PERFORMANCE

ROYAL COMMAND PERFORMANCE

Go see the jewel in the rEvolver Theatre Festival’s crown, The Princess Show.

It took a queen (or two) to make the award-winning The Princess Show.

Halifax-based queer theatre veteran Aaron Collier, who plays the titular bearded, sequinned bass-playing performance artist, Princess Edward (pictured), and his equally talented husband, Richie Wilcox, created this genre-defying musical and lip-synched thriller making its BC début this week.

Part of the rEvolver Theatre Festival, an annual platform and incubator for local and national work, the “mash-up of Dungeons & Dragons, Attack on Titan, Zelda and Rupaul’s Drag Race,” takes place in an anime fantasy world where Princess puts it all on the line to save her beloved.

It’s a royally good time!

THE PRINCESS SHOW
