MAD MENSWEAR

Mad Men teams up with Banana Republic for a retro ’60s menswear collection.
With Mad Men on hiatus until next year, we were concerned about where we would get our weekly fix of tall, dark and handsome men in crisply tailored suits lounging on mid-century modern furniture. Luckily, Banana Republic has stepped into the void with a new collection of menswear created by Janie Bryant, the costume designer for the award-winning show.
Inspired by the cool polish and panache of the early 1960s, the limited-edition Banana Republic Mad Men Collection features streamlined suit separates and fitted trousers, chunky knits and trenches, as well as accessories like money clips, silk ties, and fedoras. Some pieces are even modeled on actual costumes from the show itself.
And if merely looking like Don Draper isn’t enough for you, you can enter the Mad Men Casting Call to win a walk-on role on the show as well as a $1,000 shopping spree from Banana Republic.
Of course, if you get to meet Jon Hamm, we’re expecting you to nab us an autograph.
