PILLOW TALK

Feather your nest with Provide Made’s new line of throw pillows and floor cushions.

Provide_Made

Not content with merely owning Provide, one of the most respected and soigné home décor boutiques in Vancouver, Robert Quinnell and David Keeler recently decided to branch out. Not only will their Crosstown storefront continue to sell pieces by the West Coast’s top contemporary interior and industrial designers — like the work of the iconic artist Martha Sturdy, exquisite jewellery by Shereen de Rousseau, luxurious silk and fur bed coverings by Catherine Regehr and handmade wood furnishings by Christian Woo — but it will also feature a new in-house line of soft housewares under the Provide Made label.

First out of the gate is a collection of hand-dyed, hand-woven, eco-friendly silk throw pillows and floor cushions (pictured), whose bold geometric elements and purple palette guarantee a welcome punch of bright colour to any room. And thanks to Provide Made’s collaboration with Rajboori, the internationally acclaimed, Vancouver-based textile company, the pillows also help support independent artisans and their villages in India.

That’s a soft sell that’s not hard to buy into.

Throw pillows (18″x18″) are $180 and floor cushions (22″x22″) are $220 at Provide.
