Suck back a few with Vancouver’s best oyster deals.

Our search for the perfect New Year’s Resolution snack sent us on a citywide oyster hunt. Not only are they low in fat and loaded with vitamins and minerals, rumour has it they can be quite the aphrodisiac (so bring a date).

A few spots around town are offering great deals, so let us impart on you some “pearls” of wisdom.

Coast Restaurant (1054 Alberni St.)
$1 oysters between 3 pm and 5 pm daily.

La Brasserie (1091 Davie St.)
$1 “Buck a Shuck” oysters every night after 9 pm and at Sunday Brunch.

Rodney’s Oyster House (1228 Hamilton St.)
$1.50 “Low Tide” oysters between 3 pm and 6 pm Monday to Saturday.

So.Cial at Le Magasin (332 Water St.)
$1.25 oysters downstairs in the bar between 3 pm and 8 pm daily.
