Satisfy your cheesy cravings at Au Petit Chavignol, a chic new Strathcona wine bar.
If there’s one thing we will never get tired of writing about, it’s the opening of a great new wine bar.
Brought to you by the people behind Les Amis Du Fromage, Au Petit Chavignol, is a chic new Strathcona wine bar that serves up all things cheesy, including over 25 different selections of local and imported cheeses to try ($4 each, 3 for $10, or 5 for $16), mac & cheese, croque monsieur & madame, as well as fondue and raclette.
They also serve an impressive little selection of charcuterie, including housemade terrines and pâtés, prosciuttos and salamis, and jamón ibérico de bellota – the insanely delicious world-famous Spanish ham that only recently became available in Canada. At $29 a plate it’s a splurge, but come on, you’re worth it.
