Toast winter’s arrival with Burdock & Co.’s Vieux Boreal.

It’s Coqtail Time, that magical last Friday of the month when we introduce you to yet another fabulous libation from Vancouver’s finest restaurants and watering holes. 

This month, we’re beating the season’s chill with Burdock & Co.’s Vieux Boreal, a maple-and-pine-infused whisky cocktail that’s about as Canadian and wintery as it gets. Bundle up and knock ’em back!

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
1.5 oz Alberta Premium Dark Horse Rye Whisky
0.25 oz Sortilege Maple Whisky
0.50 oz Cinzano Rosso
0.25 oz Boreal Pinecone Dram
2 dashes Bittered Sling Suius Cherry Bitters
2 dashes Bittered Sling Denman Bitters
Orange zest (for garnish)
Cedar sprig (for garnish)

DIRECTIONS
Combine over ice in cocktail glass and stir
Pour over a large cube in old-fashioned glass
Garnish with Cedar bow and orange zest
