An old-time classic cocktail gets a modern twist at Gastown’s Clough Club.
It’s Coqtail time! On the last Friday of each month, we introduce you to yet another fabulous libation served at one of Vancouver’s finest watering holes.
Thanks to its old-meets-new cocktail menu and high-concept décor, Gastown’s Clough Club, is definitely one of the season’s hottest hangouts. What better way to chase the clouds away than with a bright and citrus-y take on the classic bourbon sour, the Clough Club Cocktail?
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
2 oz Maker’s Mark bourbon
1 oz Ramazotti Amaro
1/4 oz Agave nectar
2 dash Peychaud’s bitters
1/2 oz lemon juice
1 egg white
Place all ingredients in cocktail shaker
Fill with ice
Shake until egg white foams
Strain into cocktail coupe
