It’s Coqtail time! On the last Friday of every month, we introduce you to yet another fabulous libation shaken up and served at one of Vancouver’s finest watering holes.

With summer finally gracing us with its presence, we present the Old Cuban, a Caribbean-themed cuppa that’s guaranteed to make you forget you aren’t wearing enough sunscreen. This oh-so-simple summer sipper and salute to all things Old Havana was created by Sunny Deol, bar manager at eclectic Water St. hot spot HousexGuest. As far as we’re concerned, any place that boasts old-school wing back chairs, uses vintage luggage as side tables and features a wall of gold skulls is a place we want to get our drank on. Entiendes?

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
1 lime, juiced
1/2 oz simple syrup
4 mint leaves
1 oz Havana Anejo
2 dashes Angostura bitters

DIRECTIONS:
