DIM SUM (AND THEN SOME)

DIM SUM (AND THEN SOME)

AIDS VANCOUVER SERVES UP STAR POWER AT the 10th ANNUAL CELEBRITY DIM SUM THIS SUNDAY.

For the past 10 years, AIDS Vancouver’s Celebrity Dim Sum has brought together local celebrities and Chinese brunch in support of outreach information, education and support to people who are a high risk of contracting HIV.

This Sunday, Oct. 1, chow down on cha siu baau, cheong fun — all served up by local luminaries, such as CBC Radio One’s fabulous man-about-town, Fred Lee; CTV’s Scott Roberts and Mi-Jung Lee; Joytv’s Carmen Ruiz y Laza; internationally acclaimed artist, John Ferrie; father-son team of Shabbir and Zed Dhalla from the Amazing Race Canada Season 5; community gadflies Barb Snelgrove and the Unstoppable Conni Smudge and many, many more…

Sure, it’s all-you-can-eat, but try to save some Shanghai steamed buns for the rest of us!
