Do you have dinner plans tomorrow?

Well, now you do.

Wednesday, June 27 marks the inaugural “Summer Edition” of Vancouver Foodster’s Tasting Plates Vancouver, the mouth-watering foodie festival where 11 participating East Van eateries offer up tasting plate menus.

We’re going to do Fray’s Portobello fries, Rocky Mountain Flatbread’s Farmer’s Market pizza (pictured), Trafiq Café and Bakery’s artichoke quiche, miang kahm from Bob Loves Thai Food, the polo pibil taco from Sal y Limon and top it all off with a Triple-O’s Butterfinger milkshake. Of course, you can mix and match your own dinner. And, since this is all happening on the East Side, vegetarian and gluten-free tasters are also available. (Check out the fab menu options here.)

Also, because all the restos are within biking, rollerblading and/or walking distance from each other, you can work up an appetite and work off dinner between courses.

Remember, Pride is just around the corner…
