Denman St.’s Central Bistro ups its game.
With Delilah’s (at least temporarily) shuttered, we’ve been looking for a new go-to watering hole in the West End. Luckily, Central Bistro has been taking steps to up its game and become a new neighbourhood fave.
Some minor renos, a revamped wine and cocktail list and a fresh new menu from Chef Robert Erickson are all reasons to check it out. Sip martinis while sharing small plates like Red Truck lager mussels ($15), housemade charcuterie ($16) or caramelized Qualicum Bay scallops ($14). Or pig out on large plates like Moroccan-spiced BC trout ($20), lemongrass braised bison short ribs ($20) or papardelle with “Mama’s meatballs” ($18).
