There’s a new kid on the block in Yaletown. He’s tall, dark and handsome, he makes a mean cocktail and he dishes out some pretty amazing pizza.
Amidst the chaos of the Olympics, Charlie’s Restaurant & Bar opened its doors at 1265 Hamilton St. (right next to Society). Charlie’s is a sexy Yaletown dining lounge that combines three key ingredients for a night out: great food, great music and great cocktails.
Don’t expect any ham and pineapple at Charlie’s. Chef Brian Ritchot has created a menu of artisan pizza built from gourmet ingredients like braised short ribs and smoked duck, which pair perfectly with barman Daniel Woods’ list of addictive cocktails made with fresh ingredients and housemade syrups and infusions.
Charlie’s 14″ pizzas are meant to be shared. But after your first bite you might not want to.
