Enjoy an effortless taste of summer with Truffles Café’s prepared picnics at the VanDusen Botanical Garden.
The idea of a picnic (lounging in the sun with a special someone on a gorgeous day with nary a care in the world) always trumps the reality (running around shopping and/or cooking, finding the basket and blanket in your storage space, searching for a decent spot to sit and eat, wondering if the mayo you put on your sandwiches is going to turn and make you sick, etc…).
Luckily, Truffles Café and the VanDusen Botanical Garden have teamed up to create a hassle-free picnic possibility. A mere $58 per couple gets you double admission to the impeccably manicured hills and dales of the world-famous Garden, the use of a picnic basket and blanket, two regular-sized freshly made sandwiches, two small salads, two beverages, a selection of cheeses with grapes and two cookies for a sweet finale (pictured). All you need to do is show up, find a spot on the Great Lawn, by a pond, or under the pagoda and dig in. It’s easy breezy — the way picnics should be.
Go on, take it outside.
