PRIDE EATS

PRIDE EATS

A girl’s gotta eat right?

A girl’s gotta eat right?

If showing your pride makes you hungry, here are a our recommendations for Sunday’s Pride parade.

If you’re looking for brunch in the heart of the action, check out the award-winning Raincity Grill (at Denman and Morton). You won’t get much closer to the action than their patio, and on top of their regular brunch menu, they’ll be mixing up fresh fruit martinis. Or if a sit-down brunch isn’t your thing, their take-out window will be featuring fish and chips, homemade fruit sorbet rainbow popsicles and tasty beaver tails. Yes, the connotations are endless …

If pancakes are more your style, then stop by Capers on Robson to support A Loving Spoonful‘s Pride Parade Pancake Breakfast (9:30 am to 12 pm).

And if you’re just looking for a quick drink, pop into Blenz at Robson and Cardero or Davie and Richards. All day long they will be donating 10% of all beverage sales to Friends for Life. And during the parade, the Robson St. location will be donating 100% of water and iced tea sales.

Happy Pride!
