Oh, to spend the summer in France – the food, the wine, the French men … oh la la!
Sigh.
While taking a French lover isn’t in the cards for most of us, you can at least get your French food and wine fix this summer at Bistro Pastis. All summer long, they’ll be offering up special three-course menus featuring the classic dishes of Normandy (June 22nd to July 13th), Basque and Languedoc (July 15th to August 5th), Provence (August 6th to 26th) and finally Gascony and Auvergne (August 27th to September 19th).
At $35 for three courses it’s a très bon marché and Bistro Pastis’ extensive wine cellar means that expert wine pairings are also available. But finding the French lover – that’s still up to you.
