DELICIOUSLY DISABLED

DELICIOUSLY DISABLED

Get talking at HIM and YouthCo’s community conversation on sex and disability.

Unless you or your partner have experience with it, chances are you haven’t really thought about sex and disability.

Health Initiative for Men (HIM) and YouthCo Aids Society’s Mpowerment are changing all that on Monday, Feb. 29 with Deliciously Disabled Does Vancouver, a frank and illuminating community conversation hosted by keynote speaker Andrew Gurza (pictured) that promises to make disability accessible to everyone.

Gurza is a disability awareness consultant and the Founder and Co-Director of Deliciously Disabled Consulting, a company and a movement that aims to make the lived experience of disability accessible to pop culture.

And on that note, the event will also be featured in an upcoming National Film Board of Canada documentary.

DELICIOUSLY DISABLED
Monday, Feb. 29 at Scotiabank Dance Centre (677 Davie St.),
7 pm to 9 pm.
