SYRIAN SOIREE

SYRIAN SOIREE

RAISE A GLASS AND RAISE FUNDS TO HELP BRING A SYRIAN LESBIAN COUPLE TO CANADA.

This Friday, An Evening in Damascus will take you on a journey down the Silk Road and bring Vancouver’s LGBTQA+ community together to raise funds for two sponsorship groups supporting Syrians lesbians to join our community here in Vancouver.

For the third year in a row, the annual event is organized and hosted by Danny Ramadan, a proud gay Syrian refugee, author of “The Clothesline Swing” and the Grand Marshall of the Vancouver Gay Pride Parade 2016.

This year, the event is partnering with Tayybeh: A Celebration of Syrian Cuisine, a local group of Syrian refugee women coming together to cook amazing authentic Syrian delights (pictured). The evening will also feature Syrian entertainment, storytelling and plenty of wine.

This Friday, enjoy good company and great food for an amazing cause.
