Celebrities takes it show on the road to Winnipeg.

This summer, Celebrities is taking its show on the road to help Winnipeg celebrate Pride Vancouver-style. With music by Zach Shore, hot go-go performances by Tym and Kevin, drags shows by Joan-E and umm … porn-star-y stuff with Vancouver porn god Brent Everett, those prairie boys ain’t gonna know what hit ‘em. Maybe if we ask nicely, Joan-E will bring us back one.

As leaders in Canada’s Gay night club culture, Celebrities is branching out to other GLBT communities in Canada to re-create their night club style and to bring a whole new element to Pride. The next stop is Gio’s Club and Bar for Winnipeg Pride 2009, June 12 – 14.

Celebrities Night Club, a landmark in Vancouver’s Gay & Lesbian club scene for over 25 years has been spreading out into smaller GLBT communities in BC. When they recently re-created Celebrities Night Club at this year’s Gay Ski Week in Whistler, they took their entertainers and DJs to the mountain – bringing a whole new club crowd to WinterPRIDE.

Gio’s is the place to be seen with all the Celebrities! Friday will re-create the Celebrities flagship party, “RELEASE Saturdays” featuring DJ Zach Shore, go-go dancers Tym and Kevin, and Celebrities drag entertainer Joan-E. Saturday, LA drag superstar Jackie Beat, Celebrities drag entertainer Joan-E and some of Gio’s finest drag performers take to the stage. Sunday is Pride Day and the Celebrities crew will take part in Winnipeg’s GLBT Pride parade. Following the parade is the Gio’s After Parade Party – “LEMONADE.” Join gay porn star Brent Everett for an afternoon on the parking lot with Celebrities go go boys and DJ Zach Shore keeping the party going!
