A Loving Spoonful celebrates 20 years!
20 years ago, Easter Armas witnessed a friend, who had lost his job because he was HIV-positive, eating from a dumpster. The sight devastated her, and she became determined that no one living with HIV/AIDS should live with hunger. Two decades later, A Loving Spoonful is still going strong and is needed more than ever.
A Loving Spoonful is still the only organization in Vancouver that delivers meals free-of-charge to those living with HIV/AIDS, and receives new applications on a daily basis.
On Saturday, September 25th come celebrate A Loving Spoonful’s 20th year with a gala event at Five Sixty. Tickets are $20 and include prizes, a fabulous show, entry to Five Sixty for the night and supporting a great cause.
