IT’S A WRAP

A Loving Spoonful and Caya have got your holidays all tied up with a pretty little bow.

Though we love the holidays, we absolutely hate wrapping presents. Those unwieldy tubes of paper, the Scotch tape, the little gift tags — every aspect of the process fills us with Scrooge-like dread. So, as far as we’re concerned, A Loving Spoonful’s Get Your Wrap On campaign is a Christmas miracle!

This weekend you can take all your parcels and packages down to your nearest Caya store where, for a recommended donation of $2-$5 per present (depending on the size of the gift), a host of volunteer elves will happily do the grunt work for you — all in an attractive palette of silver and blue (pictured).

Best of all, the money raised will help make this Christmas and New Year’s brighter for people living with HIV/AIDS.

Or you could get drunk on eggnog and wrap your presents poorly and begrudgingly, like you did last year…

GET YOUR WRAP ON happens today (4 pm to 8 pm), tomorrow (12 pm to 4 pm) and Sunday (12 pm to 4 pm) at all four Caya locations in Vancouver (808 Davie St., 991 Denman St., 14 Water St. or 2706 Granville St.).
