Work it out at the GLBA Christmas Party.
Christmas Party season — that magical time of year when invitations outnumber the hours left ’til the Big Day itself.
But, despite a string of triple-booked, party-hopping nights (and the resulting throbbing hangover), there’s one must-do event we’ve circled on our calendar: the annual Gay and Lesbian Business Association Christmas Party this Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 1181.
Mix and mingle to the jingling beats of DJ G-Luve then shake it up with a specialty LOUDtini — proceeds benefiting the GLBA’s LOUD Foundation, which provides four annual scholarships totaling $7,000 to promising LGBT students. (BTW, if you know of a prospective applicant, the 2012 LOUD Scholarship application forms are now available online.)
And then there’s the not-so-small matter of the door prizes from Tinhorn Creek winery…
And that, friends, is how you mix business with pleasure.
