Thursday July 30

If you’re looking for something low-key to ease into the weekend, check out Pride Movie Night at the Vancity Theatre. For a swanky start to your Pride weekend, check out Mercury Rising at the Loden Hotel penthouse with DJ Landon James and the Homorazzi crew – no cover and $1 per drink goes to Friends for Life. Afterwards, dive head-first into the partying at Celebrities’ Pride in Fashion or “Celebrity” Shower Power at the Odyssey.

Friday July 31

On Friday, the Davie Street Pride Party is where the boys will be at. From 7pm to midnight, Davie Street will be packed with people drinking, dancing and kicking off the Pride weekend in style. Afterwards, check out legendary DJ/Producer Chris Cox at Celebrities Nightclub.

Saturday August 1

If circuit parties are your thing, the Commodore will be the place to be for Rapture:Ignition with DJ Joe Gauthreaux. For nightclubbers, check out the always-sold-out Pride party at Celebrities. Oh yeah, there’s the fireworks too!

Sunday August 2

Pull yourself out of bed for the 31st-annual Pride Parade and then continue the celebrations at the Sunset Beach Festival, Oasis’ outdoor beer garden or hop on CruiseyT’s Pride Go Go Cruise for a tour around the harbour with a few hundred cute shirtless boys. If, after all that you still have energy left, you have your choice of big-name DJs Tony Moran at Rapture:Recovery, or Chus & Ceballos at Big Roger’s Global Pride event, or party with the best-dressed ladies in town at the Odyssey’s Feather Boa.

Monday August 3

Relax, recover and head to Wreck Beach. (Or if you simply must get one more party in before the weekend is through, there’s CruiseyT’s Pride Party Cruise.)
