Pride House Opening
What: Vancouver’s Pride House is opening and will stay open throughout the Olympics.
When: Thursday, February 11th,  2 pm to 3 pm.
Why: To help the Pride House welcome the GLBT community of the world.
Where: Qmunity (1170 Bute St.).
How much: Free!

GET YOUR GAME ON
Live City Yaletown & Downtown
What: Rub shoulders with athletes and fans at Vancouver’s two outdoor celebration sites.
When: Live City Yaletown opens Thursday, February 11th and Live City Downtown opens Saturday, February 13th.
Why: They’re your tax dollars, enjoy them.
Where: Yaletown (David Lam Park) and Downtown (at Cambie St. & Georgia St.).
How much: Free!

PAINT
Pour Your Art Out
What: Valentine’s weekend specials at Raw Canvas – create art and sip wine with your beau (or belle).
When: Friday, February 12th to Sunday, February 14th.
Why: It’s the thought that counts.
Where: Raw Canvas (1046 Hamilton St.).
How much: $69 (small canvas & wine) or $96 (large canvas & wine).

GO FOR THE GOLD
Opening Ceremonies Party
What: Celebrate the opening of the 2010 Winter Games at the official Pride House celebration venue.
When: Friday, February 12th, 5 pm to 11:30 pm.
Why: Boys, bites, bubbly and partial proceeds go to QMUNITY.
Where: Score on Davie (1262 Davie St.)
How much: $25.

DANCE
The Freemasons
What: UK superproducers The Freemasons make their first Canadian appearance at Celebrities.
When: Saturday, February 13th, 9 pm to 3 am.
Why: International DJs, international boys … need we say more?
Where: Celebrities Nightclub (1022 Davie St.).
How much: $20 in advance, more at the door.

LOVE
Valentine’s Day
What: If you missed our previous post, and you still don’t have any plans for Valentine’s Day, make a donation to the Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation and get do-it-yourself Valentine’s Day recipes from Le Gavroche.
When: Sunday, February 14th.
Why: If you stay home the bedroom is that much closer.
