Art For Life
What: An evening of fine food and fine art presented by the Vancouver Friends for Life Society.
When: 5 pm – art preview and dinner, 7 pm – dessert reception and auction.
Why: It’s the social event of the season.
Where: Rocky Mountaineer Station (369 Terminal Avenue).
How much: Tickets are $150 for the gala dinner, or $45  for just the dessert reception and auction, and available online.

SHAKE IT
DJ Oscar Velazquez at Celebrities
What: Mexico’s #1 DJ spices up Celebrities.
When: 9 pm – 3 am.
Why: You slept off your Halloween hangover last weekend – time to get back in the saddle.
