Gastown Christmas Shop Hop
What: Over 20 Gastown stores stay open late to offer you the best deals of the season.
When: Thursday, 5 pm to 9 pm.
Why: Shopping + booze = fun.
Where: Gastown.

NIBBLE
Truffles at Xoxolat
What: Not chocolate truffles, these babies are chocolate squares with real black truffles from Italy.
When: Saturday, 10:30 am until they’re gone.
Why: They only last for 24 hours, so you can’t even pretend you’re going to ration them.

La Brasserie Charity Brunch
What: La Brasserie is donating 20% of brunch proceeds, plus partial proceeds from champagne and mimosa sales, to the McLaren Housing Society.
When: Sunday, 10 am to 3 pm.
Why: You can be full, tipsy and doing something for a worthy cause all at once!
