The PINK MILLION fundraising campaign kicks off.

PINK MILLION is a grassroots fundraising campaign with the goal of raising one-million dollars for the Canadian Cancer Society to fund breast cancer research, prevention and support.

Every gay man has a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt or best friend that can be impacted by breast cancer. In fact, the PINK MILLION campaign was started by a local Vancouver gay man who lost his mother to the disease.

How can you get involved?

1. DONATE. The easiest way to donate is to visit www.pinkmillion.com and follow the links to online giving. All it takes is 100,000 people to donate $10 each (that’s three lattes) to reach the goal. Or consider hosting your own PINK MILLION fundraiser, dinner party or garage sale and donate the proceeds.

2. SPREAD THE WORD. Join the PINK MILLION Facebook Fan Page and invite your friends too! 

3. TELL YOUR STORY. We are all connected to someone who has journeyed through breast cancer. The photo above shows stories shared in Yaletown last weekend. Go to the PINK MILLION Facebook Fan Page and share your own story or words of inspiration with others.
