FLIGHT OF THE CONCOURSE
The Plaza Premium Lounge offers airport luxury, even if you’re flying coach.
Ah, the joys of air travel.
In the age of shrinking seats and pay-as-you-go services, any hint of luxury is getting harder and harder to find, much less afford. And if you’re not a Gold Club Member, well, let’s just say getting there might ruin your vacation before it starts.
But there’s hope for our fellow travellers with today’s launch of the flagship Plaza Premium Lounge (pictured) in the Domestic Departures section of the Vancouver International Airport.
Starting at $40 for a two-hour pass, guests will have access to a host of amenities regardless of airline or travel class. Open ot all passengers, the Lounge’s 6,800 square-feet offers waiting room for 180 passengers with hot and cold food service areas, a barista bar, workstations and meeting rooms for rent, shower facilities and three nap rooms. And of course, admission includes wifi, TVs, magazines and newspapers.
Why wait for your flight in the terminal? They call them terminals for a reason…
