PINQ TOP 30 – JANUARY

For the first chart of 2010, January is shaping up to be the month with the hottest new tracks yet. With new tracks from the likes of Beyonce, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and the Black Eyed Peas, 2010 already looks like a great year for music. The still popular song ‘Bad Romance’ by Lady Gaga populated the dance floors leading up to New Years and into 2010 – making it the last #1 of 2009 and the first #1 of 2010. It also made the PINQ Top 10 of 2009, as the #10 track of the year.

Some new artists on the PINQ Top 30 chart include Roisin Murphy, Jay Sea, Glee Cast, Empire of the Sun, and Roger Sanchez. Notably, the first of two new tracks on the chart from Rihanna takes the prize of highest new entry. ‘Hard’ entered the chart at #3, while her second track ‘Russian Roulette’ makes an appearance at #9.
